The Massachusetts Society of Health-System Pharmacists' (MSHP) annual meeting promotes the professional development of pharmacists and technicians through educational sessions, identification of resources, networking, and social events.  This year's annual meeting is focused on showcasing the heroic work of our colleagues at both the local and national levels.  The event kicks off with the Honors & Awards Banquet on Monday evening (May 14th) and the general session begins on Tuesday morning (May 15th) with a keynote address presented by ASHP President, Paul Bush, PharmD, MBA, FASHP.  We are also honored to be joined by University of Utah’s Erin Fox, PharmD, in addition to more superheroes from right here in Massachusetts.

The learning sessions will highlight the importance of creating a strong team by leveraging the skills and strengths of ALL of our team members to design efficient and innovative solutions to improve patient outcomes, as well as understanding the role of advocacy at the state and federal levels and the impact on key current issues.  In addition to the clinical and leadership tracks, this year we are excited to offer a track dedicated to our superheroes-in-training (new practitioners), as well as a professional poster session, the MSHP Town Hall and a clinical pearls presentation session.

Honors & Awards Banquet: MSHP will recognize outstanding pharmacists, technicians and students based on member-driven nominations at the annual Honors and Awards Banquet scheduled the evening of May 14th.  The evening will begin with a cocktail reception from 5:30 to 6:30 pm, followed by the awards dinner. CLICK HERE to see the 2018 Award recipients.

MSHP Service Milestones Submissions:  Please let us know if there are any MSHP members celebrating service milestones!  We will honor all submissions by printing their name in the Honors and Awards Program and the President will acknowledge their milestone in his opening speech at the Awards Banquet. If you wish to submit a member for this recognition, please complete the Service Milestone Submission Form by CLICKING HERE.
