Annual Meeting

We hope you will join us at the 2019 Annual Meeting and Honors & Awards Banquet May 14-15th at the Umass Lowell Inn & Conference Center in Lowell, Massachusetts.

The Massachusetts Society of Health-System Pharmacists' (MSHP) annual meeting promotes the professional development of pharmacists and technicians through educational sessions, identification of resources, networking, and social events.  This year's annual meeting will be held at the UMass Lowell Inn and Conference Center in Lowell, MA.  The meeting will be focused on showcasing the work of our colleagues who are transforming the face of pharmacy at both the local and national level.  The event kicks off with the Honors & Awards Banquet on Tuesday evening (May 14th) and the general session begins on Wednesday morning (May 15th) with a keynote address presented by Moses H Cone Memorial Hospital Director of Pharmacy, Bob Granko, PharmD, MBA.  We are also honored to be joined by Massachusetts General Hospital’s addiction medicine specialist, Sarah Wakeman, MD, in addition to more pharmacy transformers from right here in Massachusetts.

The learning sessions will highlight the importance of workplace resiliency and how to flourish in any work environment, as well as understanding substance use disorder and eliminating the related stigmas.  We are excited to announce that Pharmacy Technician CE credit will be offered throughout the day, including sessions within the clinical, leadership, and new-practitioner/resident tracks.  Additionally, a professional poster session, the MSHP Town Hall and a clinical pearls presentation session will be included again this year.

MSHP will recognize outstanding pharmacists, technicians and students based on member-driven nominations at the annual Honors and Awards Banquet scheduled the evening of May 14th.
