Given the increasing threat of antibiotic resistance, the judicious use of antibiotics in all healthcare settings is important now more than ever. Join colleagues working in acute and long-term care settings for an all-day workshop focused on antimicrobial stewardship. The program will bring together physicians, pharmacists, laboratorians, epidemiologists, nurses,facility leadership, and quality improvement staff for an opportunity to network and learn from experts about antimicrobial stewardship program improvement across the continuum of care.
The Massachusetts Department of Public Health, in collaboration with the Massachusetts Health & Hospital Association, Healthcentric Advisors/New England QIN-QIO, Massachusetts Senior Care Association, and the Massachusetts Coalition for the Prevention of Medical Errors is pleased to offer a one day antimicrobial stewardship program on May 3rd 2017 from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Meeting Location: Massachusetts Health & Hospital Association, Burlington Massachusetts
Target Audience: Health care professionals including physicians, pharmacists, nurses, quality directors, infection preventionists, and facility leadership, across acute and non-acute hospitals and long-term care settings.
